Welcome to the fourth stacking days edition!
Each month i’ll be sharing my learnings, insights, frameworks and use this as an allround creative outlet. For everyone who’s stacking solid days and creating momentum towards their goals!
Reflection of this month
The sun is up at 6AM and birds are chirping early on in the morning, we officially made the switch from winter to spring in Belgium. And i must say, it’s so refreshing to see everyone around me with renewed energy.
This reminds me of a quote i recently read:
“your environment dictates your reality”.
The people around you set your standards.
The spaces you spend time in shape your focus.
The inputs you consume become your thoughts.
And every year i come to the same conclusion when spring comes around: the climate you live in, also dictates your reality. This brings me to an internal discussion i have now and then: is it worth spending more time in a different climate? Somewhere abroad? Not as a vacation, but really to live/ work and enjoy life.
Business
1M+ Revenue
As some of you know, i run an installation firm for EV chargers in Belgium & The Netherlands, called Thinkzero. Only 4 years ago, my businesspartner and me bootstrapped the business from scratch.
Last month our official numbers from 2025 came in, noting a 1,2M revenue with a solid 18% EBITDA. Very happy with these numbers and most of all proud to be able to have a healthy organization.
Ofcourse for some people these are only baby-steps and maybe the future holds much bigger things for us, but as a first time founder passing the 1M+ mark, is something special.
As everything in life, everything comes with ups and downes. Despite having a slow start in Q1 of 2026, we’re gaining some momentum back in Q2. This year my main focus in the business will be creating better systems and structures and getting the right people in the right spots.
It’s a difficult challenge to allocate some time each day to work on the business with a “bird-eye” view instead of tackling daily operational tasks, but i't’s so important for the future.

Health
For more than half of my life, i’m training Kyokushin karate. It’s a full contact, “knockdown” style of Japanese karate founded in 1964. It focuses on realistic combat, intense physical conditioning, and mental resilience, often described as the “strongest” form of karate due to heavy strikes to the body without any protective gear for hands or shins.
After 15 years of practice i get the opportunity to grade for black belt. The examination will be held in May during a full summer camp weekend.
It consists of 2 parts: the first part takes +- 3 hours and is a mix of technical knowledge and physical conditioning. For the second part you have to accomplish 10 consecutive fights of 2 minutes against fresh opponents, with very little rest in between fights.
At this moment i’m still fully preparing for this challenge, but i will for sure keep you updated in the POV edition of May!
